A completely FREE Logo that doesn’t suck????
I always advocate for hiring a professional designer to create your business visuals. Your results will be better and it’s an investment well spent in the long run. But I understand that at the beginning of a business, especially blogging, where income is lower and you need to keep investment $$’s down that finding free but quality resources is important.
That’s why I offer three free photos every month, I understand that a paid membership isn’t within everyone’s reach.
That’s also why I’ve created this tutorial on how to create a gorgeous logo using Canva, completely free online editing app. Check out their logo templates here: Canva Logo Templates
This logo only took a matter of minutes using one of the existing Canva logo Templates. By changing the elements you can make it completely your own and unique.
Using Canva and Free (or paid) Oh Tilly Styled Stock photos you can create a stunning brand for your business/blog.
With the FREE Canva logo options you are left with a logo that is 500 x 500 pixels and has a solid colour background. This means you can add it to solid colours like this image with an iPad screen mockup behind it.
I also saved the same logo with a black background so I could share it on designs with black behind it. You can change the background to any colour to help it blend in with your brand.
If you need a watermark or to add your logo to photographs with multi colour backgrounds, you can create a paid Canva account for as little as $9.95 per month (first 30 days are free) and then you have the option to save with a transparent background.
I hope this little tutorial was easy to follow and helps you to create a beautiful brand for your business or blog. Again I always recommend hiring a designed for your logo and branding if you can afford it.
